Perhaps the most shocking case of alleged police brutality is making waves after a video of the savage beating was put on YouTube.
The video, which was shot from a Pennsylvania State Trooper’s vehicle two years ago, was posted onto the video-sharing site last month.
It depicts a horrifying scene of abuse on Robert Leone, of Vestal, New York, who was allegedly pursued by police in Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
Assault: One of the troopers can be seen atop Robert Leone’s car, Tasing him through the vehicle’s sunroof.
The dashcam video shows two other Pennsylvania State Police cars involved, one of them blocking Mr Leone’s driver’s side door.
As other troopers try to coax Mr Leone out of the car, another climbs on top of the man’s car and can be seen Tasing him through the sunroof.
The brutality didn’t end there, with the same officer jumping off the car with both feet striking Mr Leone, who was being cuffed by officers.
Troopers testified that Mr Leone was fighting back against them, but the video never appears to show him coming at the officers in any way.
The brutality allegedly continues after Mr Leone is led off-camera, with audible screams being heard as one of the troopers claims Mr Leone spit on him
