November 17th began as a national call to action day with Occupy protest schedule in every-major city. However, as the protest shift in to high gear, local law enforcement clash with the 99% protester in what is shaping up to be a bloody and brutal day.
Some 300 protesters have been arrested, some peacefully and a few by force.
New York, the scene where the birth of this movement came to life some two months ago, Police Clash With Protesters in Zuccotti Park. The Park was placed in “full lockdown” and police in riot gear sealed off the park after a scuffle with a protester caused a near-riot.
After a over nigh raid on protesters in Zuccotti Park, protesters are more defiant and determine more than ever. So far, things have been way more tense than earlier demonstrations, with clashes down on on Wall Street this morning, and in Zuccotti this afternoon.
